At New Dawn Moravian Church, everyone is welcome—no one is excluded. We are a family-oriented congregation with people of all ages and backgrounds, united in love and in Christ. Parents can also enjoy worship without distraction, knowing that their children are well cared for. We offer a nursery and a Sunday School program where children can learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment.

We are more than a congregation—we are a spiritual family. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and service. Whether you're new to church or returning after a season away, we invite you to discover the joy of belonging. You belong!

About Us

Since 1984, New Dawn Moravian Church in Toronto has been serving our community with faith, love, and fellowship.

We are a warm and welcoming body of believers. Our fellowship is at the heart of who we are, and we cherish gathering as one family of faith where everyone is valued and appreciated.   Our worship blends both traditional and contemporary styles, because we believe everyone should be able to experience God in a way that speaks to them. At the center of all we do is our message: Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Our aim is to walk in His footsteps and invite others to do the same.

Our Leadership

Our leadership team is committed to serving with humility, vision, and love. We are guided by prayer, Scripture, and the example of Christ. 

Rev Rowan Simmons is passionate about biblical teaching and pastoral care. 

Board of Elders: Spiritual shepherds who support the church’s mission. 

Board of Trustees: Responsible for overseeing the church's financial needs and ensuring that various ministries are adequately funded. 

Ministry Leaders: Oversee worship, children’s ministry, outreach, and fellowship.

We are part of the worldwide Moravian Church.


Founded in 1457, the Moravian Church is one of the oldest Protestant denominations.  

Known for its motto: “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love.”  

Emphasizes personal relationship with Christ, community, and mission outreach.

Our Beliefs & Core Values

We believe in salvation by grace through faith, and we extend that grace to one another.

We preach from the Bible and follow Jesus as Lord and Savior. We are people of The Way. 

We practice fellowship, especially during our beloved coffee hours, where stories and laughter flow freely.
