Ministries & Community Engagement

Our Ministries

There's A Place For You!

At New Dawn Moravian Church, ministry is where faith meets life. Whether you're a parent seeking a  nurturing space for your child, a young adult looking for purpose and connection, or someone hungry for deeper understanding of God’s Word, our ministries are designed to meet you where you are.

Rooted in  Moravian tradition and shaped by today’s realities, each ministry offers a place to grow, serve, and  belong. Come discover a church where your story matters, your gifts are welcomed, and your journey is  celebrated.

Bible Studies

Our Bible Studies are a sacred space for spiritual growth, honest fellowship, and practical wisdom. Each  session is interactive and rooted in active participation—where no question is ever considered foolish,  and every voice matters. We explore themes that speak to real-life challenges, guided by Scripture and  the lived testimonies of our members, in the spirit of Revelation 12:11. While we honor the full breadth  of the Bible, our focus is on equipping one another to face life’s issues with faith, courage, and  relevance.  Join us every Wednesday at 7:00 PM via Zoom. All are welcome—regardless of faith affiliation.

Baptisms & Pastoral Care

We celebrate the sacred gift of baptism—for both infants and adults—as a public affirmation of faith  and belonging. Whether you're taking your first steps in faith or dedicating your child to God’s grace, our  baptismal services are deeply personal and joyfully communal.  In moments of transition, grief, or spiritual need, our pastor—trained in Clinical Pastoral Education  (CPE)—offers compassionate, confidential care. This ministry ensures that no one walks alone, especially  in life’s most tender seasons.

Sunday School & Nursery

Worship freely while your little ones are lovingly cared for in our Sunday School and Nursery. Our  trained, compassionate staff create a safe and joyful environment where children are engaged through  age-appropriate lessons, creative play, and fun activities. It’s more than childcare—it’s the beginning of  their spiritual journey, while you enjoy yours uninterrupted.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group is a dynamic space for young adults to grow spiritually, socially, and educationally  through life skills, faith-based discussions, and real-world engagement. Meeting weekly online—with  monthly in-person gatherings—we create a rhythm of connection that fits busy lives while nurturing  deep relationships. From annual camps and retreats to leadership opportunities and cross-cultural  exchanges with other Moravian Unity churches and Full Communion siblings, this ministry is a launchpad  for purpose, belonging, and bold faith.

Youth & Young Adult Bible Study

Held Thursdays at 8:00 PM via Zoom, this Bible Study is designed specifically for ages 16–25. Led by and  for young people, the topics are chosen by the group and tailored to help them navigate life within  today’s culture and society. Through open dialogue, relevant Scripture, and practical tools, we empower  youth to grow in faith, confidence, and community.

Steel Pan Outreach Ministry

This joyful ministry brings youth together through the vibrant rhythms of the steel pan. Free lessons are  offered by a skilled pan arranger and instructor, creating a space where music becomes a tool for  connection, discipline, and cultural pride. While the focus is on youth, all are welcome to join and  learn—no experience required. Whether you're discovering your first note or refining your technique,  this ministry invites you to make a joyful noise and grow in community through the power of music.

Men’s Fellowship & Moravian Women

These small group ministries offer a meaningful space for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual  growth. Whether you're navigating the challenges of manhood or womanhood, these gatherings provide  a supportive environment to share, reflect, and grow in faith.

Moravian Women meet Tuesdays at 7:00 PM via Zoom, engaging in heartfelt discussions around  women’s issues, biblical insights, and mutual care.

Men’s Fellowship offers similar opportunities for men to connect, uplift one another, and explore what  it means to live faithfully in today’s world.
